One of the ways to become a good motorcyclist is to practice slow speed riding exercises in an empty parking lot. Some of the exercises are… Parking, figure of eights, U-turns, swerving, emergency stopping, driving over things, etc.. these exercises are done at slow speeds, which helps the rider be in better control the bike.
Either before, or after a ride, I will go to an empty parking lot and practice slow speed skills. It’s amazing how many times you use them on a regular ride. And it’s fun to practice them.
