I went to ride today, but the bike would not start. I had it on and double checked everything several times, but it would not start. I thought my battery was dead because of the cold weather, so I thought maybe I could put it in second gear and jumpstart it by pushing it and popping the clutch. I went to put it in second gear and then I realized the kickstand was down. A safety feature on my motorcycle is… It won’t start unless the kickstand is up. So I put the kickstand up, and the bike started! Yay! I was so relieved. Then I went for a beautiful ride in the 54° weather. It was great and just what I needed today.
